Update 10.12.2024:
The notification process for the Games Founding Grant is expected to continue until Christmas. This applies to both acceptances as well as cancellations. Furthermore, the notification of acceptance is not yet the same as the final acceptance into the programme; this is only sealed with the subsequent conclusion of the contract.
Update 05.12.2024:
The first acceptances for the Games Founding Grant will be sent out starting this evening. However, it will take a few days before we can inform all applicants about acceptances and cancellations. We therefore ask all applicants to check their emails regularly in the coming days to enable everyone to respond as quickly as possible.
A grant confirmation is only finalised once the agreement has been signed. An official announcement of all grant holders will be made by the project partners in the new year.

“Press Start: Games Founding Grant” supports up to 130 game developers in Germany in building their own studios – starting this year. The application deadline was 17 November 2024 and we would like to thank you for the overwhelming number of submissions!

Webinars to clarify questions
To answer questions about the application process, the grant and the conent of the program, we invited all interested parties to a webinar on October 30th and November 5th, starting at 4 p.m. each day. The slides of the webinars are now available for download
